今年の春，大学を旅だって行った学生が，時々飲み会に誘ってくれます。
あんなに，あどけなかった学生も（私は，うちのおじょうちゃん達と呼んでいます），
いまや一人前の管理栄養士で，ほほえましい限りです。
職場でのこと，新しい生活でのこと，いろいろ話してくれます。
時には，研究室にやって来て，職場での人間関係など，涙を流す相談もあります。
今は分からないけれど，時が過ぎて見えてくることもあるでしょう。
慰めることもあるし，黙って聞くこともあるし，つい，厳しく接してしまうこともあります。
それでも，節目節目で連絡くれるので，顔を見るたび，本当に幸せだなと思います。
自分の研究や論文が認められるのも嬉しいけれど，手塩にかけた学生が活躍し，
評価されることは何より嬉しいことです。
今日も嬉しい出来事がありました。
４年生が，県の管理栄養士（上級公務員）に合格したと，知らせに来てくれました。
お世辞でも，「ご指導の賜です」と言われると，
教員をやっていてよかったな～とつくづく思います。
自分の評価はどうでもよくなっちゃいます，今日は祝杯です。親ばかですかね、、、
